The IC-2730A's two independent receivers provide simultaneous VHF/VHF or UHF/UHF or VHF/UHF reception.
The main display indications, volume knobs, noise reduction, and function buttons for each of the two independent receivers are symmetrically located on a detachable panel.
The IC-2730A radio station can be controlled using a Bluetooth headset. Install the UT-133A board in the radio to add Bluetooth. The Bluetooth card and headset allows the user to control the IC-2730A wirelessly using three programmable buttons and a PTT button. It also provides hands-free VOX operation.
The display size of the IC-2730A is 1.5 times larger than its predecessor, the IC-2720H. The frequency display and channel names are larger, and the white backlight provides higher contrast.
The ICOM IC-2730A radio provides 50W of output power on the VHF and UHF bands.
Built-in CTCSS and DTCS tone noise reduction encoders/decoders. Tone separation function, when working with a repeater for the transmit frequency and for the receive frequency, which allows you to set different CTCSS / DTCS tones.
The IC-2730A car radio has a detachable front panel. With the optional MBA-4 device, the panel can be connected to the main unit of the radio station, the MBF-1 bracket allows you to comfortably install the front panel of the radio in a car, up to 3 meters.
The combination of the optional MBF-1 suction cup mounting base and the MBA-5 controller arm allows for easy tilt and swivel adjustment. The large suction cup can be installed on a flat surface and can be easily removed.
Microphone jacks are available both on the remote panel and in the main unit.
The IC-2730 radio receiver covers the frequencies 118-174 and 375-550 MHz. You can listen to aviation, marine, weather channels and other frequencies.
