The Punisher MOLLE II Medium Assault Rucksack is a three-day 45 litre pack modelled after the US Army MOLLE II Medium Assault Pack. Manufactured in Ukraine specifically to the order of the Punisher.com.ua store.

Like all assault backpacks, this model is designed for the amount of equipment needed for combat missions lasting up to 72 hours. It can be worn together with a plate carrier without any problems.

First of all, it is worth noting the quality of the product. The main material from which the backpack is made is a dense and tough Cordura material, which is not subject to wear and tear and has good water resistance. The seams next to the zippers are double-stitched for extra durability.

Fastex, D-rings and a rigid frame (we will talk about it later) are made of polymer plastic.

Each fastener has two zippers, thanks to which access to the contents of the pockets and compartment will be as quick as possible. For a comfortable grip in the gloves there is a firmly sewn braid of the runner; however, even in case of a tear or loss of braiding, the runner will be comfortable to pull due to its elongated shape.

The backpack is covered with a large number of MOLLE slots — thanks to them, you can significantly increase the overall capacity of the product by placing pouches for additional equipment that does not fit in the backpack itself.

A big plus is the presence of 7 loops for carabiners or D-rings, which can also be attached to equipment with appropriate connectors.

The presence of a carrying handle makes the Punisher MOLLE II Medium quite suitable for use in the city, or in cases where the backpack is inconvenient to carry on the shoulders.

Under the handle and on both sides of it there are holes for antennas of radio stations or pipes of drinking systems. If there is no need for holes, they can be closed with removable Velcro flaps. An important detail — for easy removal of the valves, they can be pulled by the loops for carabiners mentioned above.

Next to the handle there are tightening loops with fastexes. They can be used to fasten cages or other items of similar size.

The main compartment contains an organiser consisting of three deep pockets. They are convenient for storing essential items — canteens, individual meal packs, personal hygiene items, while it would be appropriate to put a change of clothes or a spare set of uniforms at the bottom of the compartment itself. At the same time, there will still be enough free space in the backpack.

Above the pockets there is a retainer for a radio station or a hydration system, the width of which is adjustable with a buckle. Also, the retainer is capable of holding a 2-litre tourist kettle.

The upper pocket is designed for oversized items and has a 4-slot organiser: one relatively large pocket and three narrow pockets for stationery, knives, tweezers or a flashlight. It can also hold a medium-sized notebook or several pieces of medical equipment. A loop with a D-ring for hanging a multitool or other things is sewn above the organiser.

A wide velcro panel is sewn on the outside for patch placement.

The lower pocket has an organiser consisting of 4 large pockets. They are perfect for a glasses case, canteen, water bottle or gun cleaning kit.

The main compartment and both pockets are equipped with grommets for moisture removal.

The backpack fits perfectly on the shoulders — thanks to the adjustable length of the straps and the polymer frame, the backpack can be easily adjusted to the shoulders and back.

Let's dwell on the frame in more detail, because it performs two functions at once. First of all, this is an orthopaedic insert that serves to evenly distribute the weight of the backpack on the back.

In addition, thanks to the frame, gaps between the back and the backpack are possible in some places: this way ventilation occurs, which is extremely appropriate in hot weather.

The frame is easily removed when there is no need for it.

The slings are wide enough and have medium stiffness due to the lining inside. On the outside of them are sewn straps — they can be used to attach equipment or an additional chest strap.

The chest strap is located in the lower part of the straps. It allows you to run and move actively with a backpack on your shoulders without the risk of the straps slipping and falling. Can be adjusted in height and length.

The included waist belt performs the same function. Of course, the length of the belt is adjustable, and the product itself is equipped with MOLLE slots. To the touch, it is harder than straps.

Please note that this backpack does not have the quick release system found in MOLLE II Medium from the US Army contract manufacturer.

Two slots are sewn on the bottom of the backpack for passing them through slings for attaching equipment. It can be a tent, a sleeping mat, a grenade launcher or a sniper rifle.

In general, the model is identical to its prototype from the contract manufacturer, although it has some differences. A good option considering the price difference between the replica and the original.
