Tripods in the market are objectively strong. On training grounds, competitions and photographs from the combat zone, there is so much you can not see. And the school of snipers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine teaches its cadets to make a tripod out of shit and sticks, in the truest sense of the word. By the way, such a tripod cannot be thrown off in order to simplify your own life. In contrast to an expensive volunteer photographic tripod and a Soviet piece of iron, which must be handed over to the sergeant major at the warehouse.

Shadow Tech makes their tripods specifically for shooting, which also does not interfere with placing surveillance devices on them. And yet it is, first of all, a shooting tripod. Its construction is reinforced and at the same time quite lightweight. Tripod weight without head 2.3 kg. At the same time, the Shadow Tech PIG0311-G Field Tripod guarantees a reliable hold on itself of a maximum of 12 kg of useful weight. The clamping system holds the preset height settings securely across the spreading width of the legs. There is information that these tripods have withstood 50-caliber shooting from rifles such as Barrett M107, McMillan Tac50, and showed excellent results. The center column of the tripod has a removable loading hook that can accommodate additional weight (up to 11 kg) to increase the stability of the tripod.

The design of the tripod from the factory has a military color, which is a big plus. Your accessory won't have the vibrant reds or blues of some photo tripods. If necessary, the tripod will allow you to work at a maximum height of up to 154 cm, or a minimum height of 27 cm. At the same time, the legs themselves can either be spread apart or vice versa - by increasing or decreasing their projection on the ground. Out of the box, the tripod legs end with rubber pads, which can be replaced with metal spikes if necessary. An excellent option for contact with aggressive soils. Regular rubber pads will also cope with Desnyanskiy sands.
The Shadow Tech PIG0311-G Field Tripod's upper ends with a compatible bolt with the vast majority of ply heads and clamps. In our case, the Shadow Tech PIG Saddle clamp platform, also from the punisher.com.ua store, is attached directly to the tripod. We do not recommend this configuration, because it does not allow you to conveniently control the tilt and position of the rifle. Actually, we are just waiting for our ball head Sunwayfoto FB-44II.
