Virtually every manufacturer can afford to cut closed-cell foam to a certain shape of a trouser pocket, line it with mesh or Cordura, and pass it off as integrated knee pads of their own production.
Therefore, I consider it necessary to tell you about integrated knee pads UF Pro 3D Tactical Knee Pads, which are significantly different from most similar products, and have included the following features.

The knee pads are packaged in a molded cardboard wrapper with full color printing. The manufacturer's logo can be seen on its front surface. The back of the packaging is mostly filled with a black background, and has several holes and protrusions that allow you to fix the packaging around the product. There is also a sticker on the back with the name of the product, article number, barcode and the selected version.
After unfolding the cardboard package, you will find in your hands a pair of knee pads with total dimensions of 19 x 29 centimeters (width / height) and a user manual, which is hidden on the inside of the package.
The knee pads have an anatomical shape, the contour of which should adapt to the shape of the knee during its bending. Conventionally, the structure can be divided into three vertical sections. The upper and lower thirds are slightly higher, and are separated from the central section by two tapers 14 centimeters wide. The central section is 18.5 centimeters wide.
The surface of the UF Pro 3D Tactical Knee Pads is lined with black perforated polyester mesh on both sides. The front plane is equipped with an additional flat pocket measuring 10 x 20 centimeters (width/height). These pockets are designed to accommodate UF Pro Solid Knee Pads.
That is, UF Pro gives you the choice of which protection to use: soft only, hard only, or a combination of both for the maximum possible protection. Also, when using UF Pro 3D Tactical Knee Pads, you do not need to have pants equipped with separate pockets for hard protective inserts. Since the hard protection can be mounted directly in the pocket of the soft dampers, any pants that will fit these inserts can automatically have the hard knee protection as well. Yes, they won't be visible from the outside, but that's probably for the best, especially if you're trying to draw as little attention as possible.
Damping inserts made of polyurethane have an ergonomic shape. In particular, in the photo above, you can see the grooves that separate the sections of the knee pad on the inner surface, and allow it to be folded without the formation of folds or intersections of the main material. That is, the density of the damper, regardless of the angle of bending of the leg, will be approximately the same in all its sections.
UF Pro 3D Tactical Knee Pads are installed in the appropriate size pocket on the knees of UF Pro pants or other manufacturers. In the photo above, I'm using the above-the-knee zippers of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants to demonstrate this setup, but other designs can take their place.
After installation, the damper inserts are completely hidden inside the corresponding trouser pockets. In the case of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants, soft protection sits directly behind the articulated Cordura inserts.
To better understand the coverage area and flexing principle of the UF Pro 3D Tactical Knee Pads, I will take it out of my pocket and kneel. As you can see, the polyurethane damper will protect not only the point of contact of the bone with the surface, but also the part of the knee below it. That is, even if you place the knee at an angle, or sharply move the other leg to the side, bending the knee, it will remain protected. As you understand, this greatly affects both comfort and safety.
It is true that in real conditions, the damper insert will still be located inside the pants, and not outside.
