Striker HT Combat Pants are multifunctional combat pants from the Slovenian company UF Pro.
The Slovenian company UNI&FORMA, founded back in 1997, started its own brand UF Pro as a response to the needs and demands of users, which were not reflected in the design of the uniform and field clothing of the time. Therefore, the products of this brand combine unique design solutions, high-tech materials and care for the comfort of their users, which are expressed in products of local European production.
And the pants, in particular the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants, actually made UF Pro the reputation it has today. This happened, not least, thanks to the design features, a considerable list of which includes the following details.

The packaging for the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants is a black textile bag with perforations that allow air to circulate freely through its walls. On the front surface of the bag there is a large colored UF Pro logo. On the back surface, in its upper part, there is a valve for access to the inner space of the bag. Also, a sticker is usually placed on the back surface with detailed information about the contents: model name, barcode, article number and selected color and size options.
Inside, all you'll find are the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants and some cardboard inserts with information on the materials and how to care for them.
The main material is NYCO - a combination of 50% nylon and 50% cotton, which provides the pants with a balance between protection and comfort during long wear. Nylon allows the material to be strong and wear-resistant, while cotton provides convenience. To increase the protective properties, especially against tears and punctures, the material is reinforced with reinforcing fibers using RipStop technology.
In places where maximum freedom of movement is required (waist, buttocks and areas above/below the knees), NYCO takes the place of Schoeller-Dynamic (92% polyamide, 8% elastane). It is an elastic material that stretches freely in all four directions, so it does not restrict movement and allows the user to be as mobile as possible without feeling restricted.
In places where resistance and endurance to abrasive loads prevail (knees and necks of trousers), the role of the main material is played by 100% Cordura, which can resist friction, stretching and constant exposure to small abrasive particles.

The cut of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants provides a reinforced knee area, a large number of pockets to accommodate the necessary equipment and a unique ventilation system that allows a positive effect on comfort and thermoregulation during increased levels of physical activity, carrying loads and working in high temperatures.
However, the number of features of the cut is so large that the two photos above are clearly not enough to cover them all, so I suggest to consider each of them separately in more detail.
The back of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants is 4 centimeters high and features four double loops. These loops are suitable for passing strips up to 5 centimeters wide and allow you to fix them in two ways.
If you pass the belt through the inner loops that do not have gaps, it will become an integral part of the pants. But if you pass it through the outer loops, the halves of which are closed with buttons (see photo above), your belt will be attached to the pants, while you will still be able to quickly detach it if necessary. This feature can become relevant to you when you keep the summaries for pistol magazines, multitools, or other equipment on the belt because it does not allow you to pass the belt through all the loops in a row. It will also be useful when you use one belt with several pants, and you don't want to connect/disconnect the ends from it every time to wash the pants.
In the photo above, you can also see a small horizontal loop placed between the two center strap loops. It is designed to be attached to the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants suspenders, if you need it.
Below the belt there are two horizontal zippers with a width of 14 centimeters, which will provide you with access to the back pockets with useful dimensions of 18 x 18 centimeters. The necks of these pockets are made of Schoeller-Dynamic material, which provides the area of the buttocks with elasticity and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in the position of your body. This becomes very relevant when trying to bend down or squat, during which the belt of the pants stays in place: it does not sag and does not jump up.
The front of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants has two more double belt loops, each on either side of the 10cm center zip fly. This zipper is equipped with two sliders and can be opened in both directions. You may need this feature to fulfill a natural need without removing the belt with the equipment. In addition to the zipper, the belt is closed with a separate metal button and hook, which will hold the entire load when the belt is stretched.
Another feature of the belt of these pants is hidden under a small side of the main material that runs along the entire length of the belt. This is half of the extra zipper hidden here for the ability to attach the UF Pro Windstopper Lining to the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants. This additional accessory will allow you to use your pants in conditions of low temperatures or to be additionally warmed when changing levels of physical activity, in particular, not to sweat and not to overheat during active movement, but to increase the insulating layer when moving to static conditions.
On the front, on either side of the central zipper, there are two more welt pockets with diagonal necks. The height of these pockets is about 18 centimeters, but their width gradually narrows from 18 centimeters at the top to 10 centimeters at the bottom. The lining of these pockets is made of mesh to reduce the total number of layers used and improve air circulation in the thigh area.
Speaking of air circulation, in the case of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants, it is impossible not to mention the two 13-centimeter-wide diagonal zippers located a little below the necks of the front pockets.
These zips hide the perforated mesh inserts that are part of the unique ventilation system of these pants, and are designed to influence thermoregulation and wick away excess moisture from the hip and groin area. These zippers work in conjunction with the above-the-knee zippers to allow fresh air to flow directly up the thighs with each step.
So you can be sure that the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants will find something to surprise you in both cold and hot weather, which makes them very versatile, and does not require you to buy different pants for different weather conditions.
On the hips in front, a little below the ventilation zippers, there are two inset pockets measuring 5 x 14 centimeters (width/height). The horizontal necks of these pockets are reinforced with an additional layer of the main material, because they are intended for the transportation of pocket knives, flashlights and other items of similar size, which are usually equipped with metal clips for their fixation. If needed, these pockets can also be used to carry pistol magazines, tourniquets, scissors, markers, stationery, and more.
There are two more side pockets on the thighs that act as the main cargo containers of these pants. These patch pockets when folded have a useful size of 20 x 20 centimeters, and with the help of folds they can increase their depth as needed.
Access to them is provided through two independent zippers: one horizontal on top with a width of 18 centimeters, and one vertical on the side with a height of 14 centimeters. They are used to access the contents of pockets in different positions of the body. In particular, in a standing position, the upper zipper will be more convenient for you, but if you are squatting or in a car seat, the front vertical zipper will be more convenient.
Inside, the back wall of these pockets has two more flat patch pockets 7.5 centimeters wide and 8 centimeters high. They can be used to separate items within a larger space, or to transport magazines for long-barreled weapons. So you have the ability to adapt the use of these pockets to the equipment you have and the task at hand.
On top of the side pockets of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants, two more flat pockets measuring 8 x 14 centimeters (width\height) are added. In the upper part of these pockets, two flaps of the main material are attached from the inside with the help of Velcro. Inside, these valves have a plastic insert, which gives them rigidity. These flaps can be used to wrap the items inside this pocket over the top and protect them from falling out and being lost.
The main advantage of these valves lies in the fact that they are held inside due to their rigidity and friction force, so they do not require any additional means of fixation. As a result, they open completely silently, which makes these external pockets an ideal place to store additional stores, smartphones and other priority items of equipment. If necessary, you can remove the flaps by unzipping the Velcro and get open pockets for quick access to important items.
Above the knees, the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants have another pair of 19cm wide zippers. These are precisely those zippers where fresh air is taken in and its further direction along the thigh up, to the zippers located in the groin area.
In addition to their purely ventilation role, these zippers give you access to a vertical pocket 30 centimeters high, where soft knee protectors can be mounted. As with the front pockets, the lining of these pockets is made of mesh, which reduces the layering of materials and improves air circulation in the knee area.
I'm using the UF Pro 3D Tactical Knee Pad soft cushioning inserts to demonstrate the capabilities of these pockets, but similarly sized products from other manufacturers can take their place.
Also, in the photo above, you should pay attention to the two Velcro strips, which I peeled off so that you could better see the special pockets for installing rigid knee protection. The shield, which can be seen in the photo above, is formed from two layers of the abrasion-resistant Cordura material.
If necessary, to increase the knee protection, UR Pro Solid Knee Pads can be added to these pads, which are mounted in corresponding pockets 20 centimeters high through holes on the lower inner surface of the pads.
A little below the shields there is also an insert made of elastic material Schoeller-Dynamic, which provides the knees with sufficient amplitude of movement and articulation when changing the positions of the legs.
On the lower legs on the side, the pants have two more pockets measuring 14 x 19 centimeters (width\height). Access to their interior space is through a zipper with a single slider, which is located in the upper face of the pockets. The back face has allowances of 1-1.5 centimeters, allowing you to place bulky items inside, such as tourniquets, bandages, bandages, survival kits, etc. The front plane of these pockets also has a metal grommet, through the opening of which water can flow from the inner space in case of immersion of the feet in water.
Also, in the photo above, you can pay attention to another reinforcement with Cordura, which is located on the inner surface of the legs. This area usually rubs against the shoes of the other foot with each step, so it is not surprising that the manufacturer decided to protect it from premature destruction.
At the back of the legs are two more vertical zippers 26 centimeters high. By unbuttoning them, you can increase the diameter of the neck of the pants by 7 centimeters, and at the same time get access to its adjustment, which is carried out thanks to cordlock and Velcro. By sliding the end of the Cordlock along the 17cm Velcro, you can tighten or unfasten the necks of the trousers depending on the type of shoe and the conditions of use.
And speaking of shoes, it is worth noting one more feature of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants design – a plastic hook hidden on the inner surface of the front of the neck. With this hook, you can hook the front edge of the trouser neck to your boot laces, which will stop the necks from riding up freely. This can be very relevant when moving through wet grass, deep mud or snow.
In general, the cut of the UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants can hardly be called simple. However, it allows you to balance three key factors: protection, comfort and unloading capabilities. In them, you can simultaneously protect your knees, not overheat at high temperatures, and carry all the necessary equipment. Perhaps that is why these pants at one time became the closest competitor to Crye Precision G3 Combat Pants in Europe and beyond.
